Description
There are multiple options for the surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence in combination with erectile dysfunction. The most common approach is to perform an artificial urinary sphincter placement (with standard two incisions) in combination with a malleable or inflatable penile prosthesis – in the same setting or staged surgeries. This video describes in detail our single perineal incision for placement of a virgin malleable penile prosthesis with an artificial urinary sphincter. All the surgical steps are demonstrated in detail, allowing the viewer to have a very rich comprehension of the procedure. Special attention is given to the pressure regulating balloon insertion, which is performed through the same perineal incision.
