Introduction:
Procedures to enlarge the penis hab been attempted over the years. However, none has been more harmful than penile filling with methyl methacrylate acid PMMA.
Objectives:
To demonstrate the excision of PMMA granulomas that formed in the scrotal region after migrating from penile shaft.
Methods:
We presenting a video report from a young man submited to penile enlargement with PMMA. The product migrated to scrotal region cause depression and sexual dysfunction.
Results:
The surgery was a success. We were able to remove the granulomas while preserving the testicles and epididymides. Scrotal reconstruction was perfomed, and one year after the procedure, the patient resumed sexual activity and regained fertility.
Conclusions:
PMMA should not be used in male genital are. The surgical removal of PMMA granulomas is possible, but a delicate procedure aimed at preserving important anatomical structures.
