Key Words

Minimally Invasive Malleable Penile Prosthesis

Description

This video demonstrates a technique for the placement of a malleable prosthesis that utilizes two small, sub-coronal incisions. By employing a more distal incision, versus a more traditional penoscrotal incision, it allows for better visualization and ergonomics especially when patient anatomy makes the traditional incision more difficult. The technique is demonstrated in a recorded live surgery. The video demonstrates both the ease and feasibility of this technique as well as highlights its potential for use with difficult anatomy (ex. Buried phallus) and improved patient recovery.
