Description

This academic video presents a step-by-step glansectomy technique for early-stage penile cancer confined to the glans, followed by neoglans reconstruction using a free skin graft. Key indications include T1B–T2 squamous cell carcinoma without invasion of the corpora cavernosa.

The procedure involves:

  • Circumferential subcoronal incision and penile degloving
  • Urethral preservation and mobilisation
  • Excision of the glans with oncologic margins
  • Repositioning and fixation of the urethra to the distal corpora
  • Harvesting and tailoring of a split-thickness skin graft
  • Precise graft fixation to the neoglans
  • Compressive dressing and structured follow-up

The technique ensures oncologic safety, aesthetic restoration, and functional preservation. This video offers a reproducible, organ-sparing alternative for penile cancer management, ideal for urologists seeking advanced reconstructive strategies.
