Description
The video covers the indications for AUS placement, stressing the lifespan of the AUS which nearly always necessitates a revision on replacement in the life of the patient. Approaches vary, from downsizing the cuff, to re-siting the cuff, to removing only part versus replacing all components. The preoperative workup is analyzed, then the stepwise approach toward removing all components then thinking through the process of replacement. The common danger areas in this procedure are stressed.
