Description
This video demonstrates the evolution of live surgery demonstration, as well as provides a “must have” list for surgeons desiring to produce surgical videos. The author describes the importance of understanding the many techniques of recording footage and editing video from the operating room. Proper lighting, positioning, camera, and monitor equipment are described and detailed. Obtaining consent for various media outlets, room setup, specific camera, mounting hardware, remote control, and battery life are explained. Tutorials on making and uploading videos, computer production programs, and tips for creating and managing an online account are described.
